  1. General
    This page states the Terms and Conditions under which you (User) may visit this Website. Please read this page carefully. The Tobacco Institute of India (Institute) reserves its right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating this posting and without giving any prior notice.   2. Use of Content
    1. The Institute licenses the User to view, download and print the contents of the Website, provided that such content is used for personal and/or non-commercial purposes only.
    2. Content from the Website shall not be used, modified or exploited by Users for any commercial and non-private purposes without the prior written consent of the Institute.
    3. Users may access and use the Website for legal purposes only. Users may not use the Website in order to transmit, distribute, store or destroy material (a) that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offence or violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) in a manner that will infringe the copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property rights of others or violate the privacy or publicity of other personal rights of others; or (c) that is libellous, defamatory, pornographic, profane, obscene, threatening, abusive or hateful.

    5. All licenses and/or permissions granted in terms of this are provided on a non-exclusive and non-transferable basis and may be terminated or cancelled by The Institute at any time without giving reasons therefor.
  3. Intellectual Property Rights
    All intellectual property on the Website, including but not limited to content, trademarks, domain names, patents, design elements, software, databases, text, graphics, icons and hyperlinks are the property of or licensed to the Institute. Subject to the rights licensed to the User in clause 2, all other rights to intellectual property on the Website are expressly reserved.
  4. Security Rules
    1. Users are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of the Website, including, without limitation,
      1. accessing data not intended for such User or logging into a server or account which the User is not authorized to access,
      2. attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization,

Wherever such link/s lead to websites which do not belong to the Institute, the Institute is not responsible for the content of such websites and does not make any representations regarding the correctness or accuracy of the content on such websites.     1. The Institute (including its members, employees and other affiliates agents) shall not be liable for any damage, loss or liability of any nature, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, incurred by whomever and resulting from:

      2. access to other websites linked in this Website;
      3. inability to access this Website;
      4. inability to access websites linked to in this Website;
      5. content available on this Website;
      6. services available from this Website; and
      7. downloads and use of content from this Website.
